Welcome to Episode Twenty-One of the Talkin' Tynie Podcast
In this episode, Alastair and Euan focus on three main topics:
1. January Transfer Window - Incomings, Outgoings and New Contracts
2. Celtic Review
3. Hibernian Preview
The boys start the episode by analysing the business completed by Hearts in January. They briefly focus on right back Nathaniel Atkinson as last episode a detailed overview of him was completed. They move on to talk about recent signings: Ellis Simms and Toby Sibbick and talk about their careers to date and what they can bring to the team. The boys move on to touch upon outgoings, with Gnanduillet and Jamie Walker both departing the club this month. A major talking point arises when the name of John Souttar cropped up in discussion and they discuss his pre-contract move to Rangers.
Moving on, the defeat midweek to Celtic is analysed. Individual players, team-selection, managerial tactics and overall thoughts on the game are provided. They give their thoughts on the performances of new players Simms and Atkinson, whilst also discussing injuries that have arisen to both Craig Halkett and Michael Smith.
The last main segment for this episode is the preview of the Edinburgh Derby which takes place on Tuesday evening. Alastair and Euan both outline and justify their starting eleven for the match and also answer a few questions from listeners that are focused around the teams tactics. They then move on to focus more on our rivals, Hibernian who have changed their style under new manager Shaun Maloney. They detail their strengths, weaknesses and attempt to predict their team and play style. Team news for both sides are read out, and the boys finish the episode by giving their score and goalscorer predictions.

Welcome to Episode Twenty of the Talkin' Tynie Podcast.
In this episode, Alastair and Euan change from their usual podcast style and instead have an episode that focuses on player contracts, incomings and outgoings. Due to the club having 10 current first team players out of contract at the end of the season, the episode is dominated by debate over certain individuals in relation to whether we would extend their deal or not. The 3 loanees: Cochrane, Woodburn & Moore are also assessed.
Potential outgoings are briefly touched upon, with a few individuals clearly heading for the exit door. Whereas Hearts have already officially announced their first January transfer, an Australia that goes by the name of Nathaniel Atkinson. The boys provide a low down on him and give an insight on what he will hopefully bring to Tynecastle.
Another player rumoured to be joining Hearts is Japanese striker Tsuyoshi Ogashiwa, like Atkinson the boys provide an (more brief) overview of what we might be getting should the deal materialise. The episode finishes by having a look at the pre-contract options for Hearts across the Scottish Premiership with a few names standing out as potential options. The lack of rumours circulating within the media made name picking certain players in this section very difficult!
Player contracts - 4:02 to 48:15
Assessing the 3 loanees - 48:16 to 59:10
Outgoings - 59:11 to 1:01:55
Nathaniel Atkinson - 1:01:56 to 1:08:47
Tsuyoshi Ogashiwa + other striker related chat - 1:08:48 to 1:17:36
Other incomings -1:17:37 to the end

Welcome to Episode Seventeen of the Talkin' Tynie Podcast.
In this episode, Alastair and Euan sit down to analyse Hearts' strong start to the season by discussing the first three league matches and the one Premier Sports Cup match. In particular they focus on the most recent league game, a 1-1 draw at home to Aberdeen.
They talk about the match, ponder tactical decisions and debate certain individual player performances. They also pay tribute to Marius Žaliūkas following a famous 'twirly' in the 26th minute to mark respect for the sad passing of our cup winning captain.
With transfer deadline day coming up and the announcement of Ben Woodburn on loan from Liverpool, the boys turn their attention towards the transfer window, with Hearts expected to have a busy few days.
