This week we sit down with one of the biggest IG accounts within the maker community, Jeff Mack. Jeff tells what it’s like to get fired. And, how he uses IG to grow his business. He talks about how he keeps up with the algorithm changes, AND, he even offers Vik a job! The audio was a little funny in this episode, and we’re really working hard on fixing it, so bare with us. A few take aways form this weeks episode:

- Treat each like/ comment like a virtual business card.

- Try doing different tests for growing your account. For example, spend an hour engaging with other accounts within your community by using a local gio-tag.

- Happiness is all that matters. Make sure you’re having fun with what you’re doing.

- Try posting more carousel posts with 5 to 10 pictures and videos of the process. Test this to see if it performs better than signal photo posts.

- Google “Instagram” and read articles that come up on latest trends and algorithm upgrades.

- Jeff is crazy and doesn’t draft posts.

- Remember, we all started with 0 followers. Don’t get consumed by the number and focus on making an impact within the community.
