Also, Chase Elliott's crew chief Alan Gustafson has been suspended for two races and fined $50,000 for a problem with the window brace of the No. 9 Chevrolet at Texas Motor Speedway. The team also lost 20 driver and owner points. Hendrick Motorsports announced they will not appeal the penalty and that Kenny Francis will be the crew chief of the No. 9 Chevrolet for Bristol and Richmond. We'll discuss what that means for the No. 9 team and if a window brace really makes a big difference.
Plus, Monster Energy and NASCAR announced they will extend their partnership through the 2019 season but the sport said that it is 'highly unlikely' that their deal will extend past the 2019 season. NASCAR also announced that they will have a different sponsorship format in 2020. We'll discuss that.
