Kevin Harvick took the pole for Sunday's Hope for Heroes QuikTrip 500 at Atlanta Motor Speedway. We'll discuss qualifying and preview Sunday's race. 

Also there is a report that Las Vegas Motor Speedway may get a second race at their track in 2018. Speedway Motorsports Incorporated (SMI) will have to take a date away from one of its other tracks. We'll discuss which tracks are vulnerable and which tracks are safe. 

There's been a recent trend of qualfying on the same day as a race, about three or four tracks have announced their plans to do that during the 2017 season. What does this mean? Is it something that will help NASCAR?
