Talking in Circles: Atlanta Review, Kyle Petty Talks Caution Clock,
On this episode of Talking in Circles we discuss the entire weekend at Atlanta Motor Speedway, the Folds of Honor QuikTrip 500 and Jimmie Johnson's 76th career win, tying him with Dale Earnhardt.
We'll talk about what we thought about the new rule package at Atlanta and whether or not the race was interesting or boring. Also we'll talk about what we think we'll see at Las Vegas this weekend.
Matt Kenseth had a well documented penalty on Sunday, which in part cost him the race. Plus his team did not communicate to him what happened. We'll break that down as well and who is really at fault for the incident.
The NASCAR XFINITY Series had a good race on Saturday that saw Kyle Busch run away with the race with a hard charging Kyle Larson in tow.
The NASCAR Camping World Truck Series used the caution clock for the first time this weekend and we had a major incident because of it. Two drivers hit the wall at extremely high speeds. We'll discuss what we think of that clock.
Also ratings for the Cup race were down significantly for the second straight week and the attendence for the race at Atlanta was not strong. What has happened to Atlanta and should we be worried about the future of the facility.
