William Byron and Alex Bowman are on the front row for the Daytona 500. Hendrick Motorsports took the first four spots in qualifying and sit on the pole for the fifth consecutive year.
Plus, Tyler Reddick and Casey Mears have locked themselves into the 500 via their qualifying speeds. Mears and Reddick can still race their way into event. 4 other drivers will try and race their way in in Thursday’s Gander Outdoors 150s.
Also, Jimmie Johnson took the checkered flag in the Advanced Auto Parts Clash at Daytona. It was a wild finish that saw Paul Menard and Johnson make contact and take out about 17 cars before the rain came. We’ll discuss the finish and the move.
