Kasey Kahne is in a new ride for the 2018 season after it was announced that he will join Leavine Family Racing in 2018, replacing Michael McDowell in the No. 95 Chevrolet. McDowell sits 25th in the standings and is having the best year of his career. We'll discuss the move and talk about McDowell's options for 2018.
Plus, Kasey Kahne will have a new crew chief for the final nine races of the season. Darian Grubb moves from a competition role to become the crew chief of the No. 5 Chevrolet. He replaces Keith Rodden. No word on Rodden's future although the team said he will stay with the organization through the end of the year. We'll discuss this move and why they didn't make it earlier.
