On today's episode we talk about a sad anniversary in NASCAR.
After that we'll review the STP 500 @ Martinsville Speedway. Denny Hamlin gives Toyota their first win since Talladega last season. We need more short tracks. What a fun race. We'll give our attaboy/girls and our disappointments.
Also, the big story of the week is the P5 penalty for the #31 team for Richard Childress Racing. Crew chief, Luke Lambert has been suspended for six races, and placed on probation through December 31st. Interesting take that Clayton has on this as to what RCR's next move should be; also, is it time to change the way NASCAR penalizes teams in this sport?
And our team report cards. Usually, every break in the season, we give team report cards, and today we'll give ours after the first six weeks.
Qualifying at Talladega has changed, of course, only the 457th change in qualifying. Is this the best way? Is there a better way?
Also, John Harlow from BeyondtheFlag.com will join the show to discuss multiple topics with us; and that's always a treat.
