We will preview the AAA Texas 500 at Texas Motor Speedway. Carl Edwards won his 28th career NASCAR Sprint Cup Series race in controversial fashion. The race stopped due to rain with 41 laps to go. We'll discuss what options NASCAR had with the rain and whether or not they should have run the race to completition. 

Edwards joins Jimmie Johnson in the championship race at Homestead-Miami Speedway. With just one race to go until the championship race, we'll discuss who we think will advance from Phoenix. 

Also, NASCAR Sprint Cup Series Rookie of the Year contender Brian Scott announced that he will retire at the end of the 2016 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series season, shocking the NASCAR world. Scott drove the No. 44 Ford for Richard Petty Motorsports in 2016 and brought sponsorship from family ran Albertsons and Shore Lodge. Scott sited the fact that he wants to spend more time with his family as the reason why he wanted to retire. We will give our opinions on who may replace Scott in the 44 and whether or we'll discuss the future of Richard Petty Motorsports.
