Talking In Circles: We break down the Tony Stewart situation

Listen Later

On this episode of Talking in Circles we break down the Tony Stewart situation and what it means for his retirement tour and we discuss who we think will take over the No. 14 Chevrolet for the begining of the season and why. We also talk about the impact it will have on NASCAR and the Daytona 500.
Also, Michael Waltrip will race for BK Racing in the No. 83 Toyota with Maxwell House as sponsor. We discuss that move and potentially a fourth BK Racing car at Daytona as well.
Also Premium Motorsports has hired Cole Whitt to drive the team's No. 98 entry for the entire 2016 season. Whitt will be on his fourth team in three years.
Kyle Larson just met his crew chief last week. We discuss whether or not that means anything for the 2016 season.
It was announced today that Matt Tifft will drive for JGR in 13 NASCAR XFINITY Series races in 2016. We'll talk about how we think he'll do.
BJ McLeod Motorsports will run a two car operation for the 2016 season with the owner driving the No. 78 Ford Mustang. The team will have a variety of drivers in the No. 99 Ford Mustang, running full-time. We'll discuss that plus Harrison Rhodes moving to Obaika Racing and that organization having a two car team.
On the truck series side of things Cameron Hayley joins a four truck effort at ThorSport Racing for 2016 and Parker Kligerman will run Daytona for RBR Enterprises and Jordan Anderson will run full-time.
Plus we still have no idea if the franchising deal will be in place for Daytona or not.
It's going to be a jammed packed 1 hour show and we take your calls at 917-889-8280.
