On this episode of Talking in Circles we're talking about the new and younger Hendrick Motorsports. William Byron was announced as the driver of the No. 5 car for 2018 on Wednesday. What are his expectations and why did this happen so quickly? 

Plus earlier in the week we discovered that Kasey Kahne was out at Hendrick at the end of 2017. What are his options for 2018 and beyond? We'll discuss it. 

Two other NASCAR veterans are currently without a contract for 2018. We'll talk about their options. 

Also, NASCAR announced this evening that the XFINITY Series will run composite bodies in the 2017 season at Richmond, Dover and Phoenix. They will make it optional for 2018 and it sounds like mandatory in 2019. We'll dive into that.
