There's an updated and improved version of the Isuzu N-Series light-duty truck arriving in dealerships now.

Some of the big changes include additional models of the big-selling offering Independent Front Suspension and Rack and Pinion Steering.

Isuzu saying this gives the N-Series a more "car-like" feel and makes the truck an even more attractive proposition for tradies and other users who might be coming out of a ute or a van.

There's also an updated version of the Isuzu Automated Manual (AMT) in the offering, again, changes that are likely to entice potential first-time truck buyers.

We caught up with Isuzu Australia Limited’s Chief Engineer, Product Strategy, Simon Humphries at the Australian launch of the updated N-Series to talk about these changes.
