On this episode of Talking Late Night, Max interviews Jessica Young, an improviser currently at the Village Theatre in Atlanta, but a former Mainstage Player at Ryan Stiles' The Upfront Theatre in Bellingham, Washington. Jessica got involved with improv when she went to Western Washington University and joined their nationally acclaimed troupe "The Dead Parrots Society." From there, Jessica fell in love with the art of improv. After graduating with a degree in Theatrical Performance, Jessica moved to New York City to pursue theatre. Once there, she continued her acting career by appearing in multiple productions, continued her improv career by training at both the Peoples Improv Theatre (PIT) and the Upright Citizens Brigade (UCB), and worked an amazing job at a comic book shop. After that, she lived in both Bellingham, Washington (where she became a Mainstage Player for Ryan Stiles' The Upfront Theatre) and Los Angeles, California (where she trained at The Groundlings and iO West). After a long road trip across America (no joke), she landed in Atlanta at the Village Theatre, where she continues to perform improv, coach, and act to this day. You can follow Jessica on Instagram to learn about all her upcoming performances, and also be sure to check out the Village Theatre to see their amazing improv shows!
