This. is. Mayhem Mania!
Not quite a game. Not really a contest. More like a competitive thought experiment. The object is to create the best WrestleMania card possible – NOT necessarily to predict what WWE will do.
This is not fantasy booking. It’s more like reality booking. Any match created must have at least a chance of happening in this year’s WrestleMania. That means all wrestlers come in their current physical, emotional and contractual state. Anyone selected for a match must have a reasonable chance of being hired by WWE to appear on the real-life WrestleMania card.
Simply put, you’re Vince McMahon with infinite cash and no self-control.
For those of you who are just joining us, here’s where you can catch up on Mayhem Mania 2019: Opening Round – Round 1 – Round 2 – Round 3 – Round 4 – Round 5 - Round 6
Round 6 of Mayhem Mania 2019 was held during the Wrestling Mayhem Show on Tuesday, March 12. 5 people were invited to each make a single change to our existing 8 matches on our “undercard”. Any match that survives 3 rounds without being altered in any way GRADUATES to our SUPERCARD. So far, two matches has earned this distinction.
Bobby's match just graduated following Round 6. So, before we could begin Round 7, Bobby was rewarded for creating a graduated match. He received 1 ELIMINATOR (more on that in a little bit). He got to hand out a dose of "punishment" to one of this week's players (He chose to give it to Alex Kahrs). Finally, he also created a new match to fill the opening created on our "undercard".
With that bit of extra business out of the way. Here's how things played out during Round 6 of Mayhem Mania.
Move 2 (by RYSE Wrestling Tag Team Champion Ty Cross)
Move 3 (by Dave Podnar)
Move 4 (by Matt Light)
Move 5 (by Alex Kahrs)
With the latest round of moves now in the books, here are the 5 newly created matches on our “undercard” following Round 7.
And here are the 3 matches that survived Round 7 without being altered in any way.
As a result of his move not surviving until the end of the round, Dave Podnar gets an automatic invitation to return next week. (a.k.a. The "Alex Kahrs Rule")
A bounty of ELIMINATORS have been awarded during Mayhem Mania. ELIMINATORS allow a player to eliminate any single person from being used at all during this year’s Mayhem Mania. An ELIMINATOR can be used at any time once it’s been earned. Here’s the list of who’s been eliminated thus far. As mentioned above, Bobby was awarded one for his graduated match. He chose to ELIMINATE...Enzo Amore! So, here's the updated full list of eliminated performers.
Many, many thanks to Antonio Garza from TheWrestlingRevolution.com for the awesome match graphics and to Larry from Dark Forge Studios for forging the white board that we’re using in studio during the Wrestling Mayhem Show.
Join us next week, when five more players will make more changes to our card. Thanks for supporting Mayhem Mania!
A reminder that the exhilarating and unpredictable Patreon In The Bank round is coming up on March 26. Only Patreon supporters of the Wrestling Mayhem Show will be invited to participate. Preferential treatment will be given to those longest-tenured and most generous supporters. Head to www.patreon.com/wrestlingmayhemshow to sign up!
