With the winter perch bite in full swing, Tony sits down with a couple of folks from the Minnesota DNR. Beth Holbrook, researcher with the MNDNR, and Greg Berg, Mille Lacs area supervisor for MNDNR. They share some insight into an ongoing perch study being done on small lakes across MN. In addition, discuss growth rates and a changing age at which perch may be spawning. In closing, we discuss a reduction in the perch bag limit on Mille Lacs for the remainder of the season.
