We spoke to Barrie about his life growing up and gaining his behind the scenes experience with theatre productions knocking back an electricians apprenticeship to take a job at Crawford’s to work on many TV shows such as Young Talent Time, Holiday Island, Prisoner, The Logies and many other well known tv shows, Barrie spoke to us about everything behind the scenes of Prisoner and what it was like on his first day on the set of Prisoner at the age of 22 and the one cast member that really cut him some slack being so new. Barrie also spoke to us about the day of the Russel Street bombings, a near miss in a helicopter accident and nearly meeting the queen back in the 1980s, what it was like to film major breaking news story’s and so much more.
