TheBrewz are a Kaka’ako-based production and songwriting team comprised of Joshua Stephens, lead singer of popular local band The Fresh Preps, and Nā Hōkū Hanohano-award winning producer and songwriter Chaz Umamoto, formerly of Streetlight Cadence. Together, the duo have become some of the most prolific producers in Hawaii, having produced over 200 songs since 2019, including high-profile collaborations with Grammy-nominated producer and singer Kimié Miner, 2x Nā Hōkū Hanohano award-winning rapper Thomas Iannucci, and Sonny Sandoval, lead singer of multi-platinum band P.O.D. Their new album, “Good Catch,” drops on June 3rd.
