A sense of play and collaboration without judgement is at the core of the art of improvisational performance. Improve can teach us about ourselves, about the ways of others, and about trust. But does it work in the virtual setting?

In this episode of Talking Studio, I talk with Tantrum Theater’s Josh Coy, the Columbus-based Nest Theater co-founders Tara DiFrancisco and Rance Rizutto, and Passion Works Studio’s Nancy Epling about an improv collaboration, together with Ohio University’s School of Theater students, that has brought artists together virtually to learn from one another…and to play.
