GAAD (Global Accessibility Awareness Day) May 19 2022
GAAD is May 19 with most organisations having presentations throughout the week.
As usual, most of the main tech company’s like Apple, Google, and Microsoft will be highlighting GAAD.
In particular, I’d check out the Apple.com.au website to see what is new with the Accessibility Assistant for Mac and Apple Watch.

iPod gets Retired by Apple after 20 years
The iPod was first introduced in 2001 with many variations along the way.
I still have a number of my iPods including:
First iPod shuffle from 2005 that looked like a stick of gum,
my iPod nano from 2008 with the click wheel and speech that came from Mac/Windows,
2009 iPod touch 3rd generation with VoiceOver access on the touch screen, and
An iPod nano (6th gen I think) that you could ware as a watch with a 3rd party watch band.
Various Nanos and Shuffles since including the last Nano and last Shuffle in about 2015.
The last iPod touch came out in 2019.
