A grant to assist blind or low vision students to undertake certificate 4 or above tertiary courses is still open for applications for 2019. Closing date is October 31 2018.

We catch up with Damian to have a talk about the Technology Service at Vision Australia, the new structure/staff, how the new AT Helpdesk is going, and what the best way of giving feedback to the service is.
Finally a note about the Aira Customer Care hours. As of August this year the agent service via your phones camera or linked smart glasses became 24 hours a day, the Customer Care hours also were change to be in Aussie time 11PM to 11AM 7 days a week.
