Building a strong foundation for discussing sexuality with our kids is essential. In this episode I outline what I find most important to begin discussing with our children in order to build up this foundation and lead to further conversations, including naming genitals, bodily autonomy, and consent. I highlight two books I have regularly used to facilitate these conversations with my kids; What Makes a Baby by Cory Silverberg and Girl Sex 101 by Allison Moon.
