Acknowledgement of Country. This episode seizes upon a unique opportunity to hear the directions that a Judge usually gives to a jury. Because of the COVID emergency, the matter I talk about, which would usually be heard by a jury, was heard by a Judge. That Judge, Justice Mossop of the ACT Supreme Court, had to tell himself all of the things he would usually tell a jury, and it’s fascinating.
