So, it's this thing in the hood, that if you don't speak slang/ or up on the current Ebonics that you are trying to sound white or better than being black, when the reality is that the majority of blacks in America that are the descendants of slaves - do not have a native tongue- and thus forth are left to speak English(which is a European Language.)
Furthermore, every time you accuse a black woman or man(boy or girl) of speaking "white" instead of talking intelligible- what you are basically saying (without even realizing it) is that, "black people only seem fit to speak broken English(slang-unintelligible)" and that, "in order to enunciate or fluently speak English is only fitting to whites."
It's okay to have a language that you share in common within your community, friends, and family. But when it comes to the American Society and advancing in life- one must be able to adjust and adapt to achieve!
