If you grew up wrestling in Iowa during the early to mid-2000s, you knew the name Marshall Koethe. He was a 3x state finalist and 2x state champion for Akron-Westfield before ending his senior campaign in 3rd place for Twin River Valley. Marshall has used his experiences, both good and bad, to help shape his own athletes as he helps out at Iowa City West. A father of five, his oldest son, Owin, will be competing this week at the Iowa High School State Wrestling Tournament in class 3A at 144 lbs.
