A lot of times, we get so carried away with codependency that we ignore the place of singleness. God plans for us to have a relationship with him before having a partner. Laju Iren mentioned in an article that, “My purpose isn’t marriage. It isn’t my career. It isn’t even motherhood. It’s Christ. In my loving, in my ‘mummying,’ in my working, I must live in Him, for Him, with Joy!” If you don’t get it right single, you can’t get it right in a relationship or marriage.
