Ishan Roy heads the Blockchain initiatives for the State of Tamil Nadu, India He is the chief architect and program manager for the Tamil Nadu Statewide Blockchain Backbone, which is a blockchain network for building e-Governance DApps for government departments, public, and private sector entities, and startups.  Ishan has contributed to and coordinated the formulation of the Tamil Nadu Blockchain Policy 2020 which focuses on capacity building, infrastructure development, He is a member of the expert panel of the European Union Blockchain Observatory and Panel and authored the 'Demystifying NFTs' and 'Digital Euro and CBDC' reports published by the forum.  Ishan has authored the book 'Blockchain Development for Financial Projects' which has gathered rave reviews from blockchain newcomers and professionals & has consulted on and executed numerous blockchain projects and DApps ranging from Play-to-earn platforms, Centralized and Decentralized Crypto exchanges, Enterprise blockchain projects, Cross border payment platforms, NFT marketplaces, ICOs, etc. Ishan's clients are from varied domains including governments, IT service providers, crypto startups, workflow automation companies, etc.
