He never thought he'd see Hannah Chapman again. A woman like her, pure and untouched, has no place in his world. Ever since losing her sister, Hannah has sheltered herself from the world, but being knocked from her bike is a wake-up call. A call she's ready to accept. There's one thing left on her to-do list, and there's only one man who can help her. But will the dangerous, devastatingly gorgeous Sicilian oblige her?

Where has this author come from!
This was amazing! Hot alpha hero. An intelligent heroine that is witty and totally charming in her naivete. Hannah was a breath of fresh air in Francisco's life.
You really see the two characters grow. You see the changes in them. No long winded misunderstanding or revenge. No massive age gap. No dim witted heroine acting like a doormat. No jerk of a hero! Yeay...FINALLY!
LOVED EVERY MOMENT.
Pleasant surprise
This story was refreshing. The h and H were engaging. The composites of their characters were revealed in perfect timing like the strategic courses of a meal. The honesty and openness of the h and H was shocking compared to other Harlequin books. They didn't need the deception, lies, and false accusations to create tension and drama of falling in love. Their life experiences and the way they ordered their lives, their safety shells were the obstacles to overcome. They formed a protagonist partnership, fighting against their personal baggage that tried to keep them locked in their ruts and away from their life changing love affair.
I loved that the H was a truly strong man who was secure enough to be open about his thoughts and feelings and man enough to respect a strong woman. He didn't try to manipulate the h or brow beat her into her place. He was strong so her strength was valued and supported. I loved that the h was strong enough to be vulnerable. She willingly faced her faults and humbly sought growth. She was honest about her short falls and lauded the H for his strengths and the way he enhanced her life. Great book.
Great HP worth reading
I read this book first in the series and I loved it. I think the author did a good job of giving us glimpses of a wonderful guy hidden behind the H's tough, unfeeling persona. I was hooked and I loved the terribly straight and virtuous doctor h. I don't think the H stood a chance once the h set her sights on him. It was a great read with the usual misunderstanding thrown in but this an HP after all.
I'm off to download the other 2 books in this series
Great wrap-up to the series
I really enjoyed this finale to the series. It made me go back and re-read the first two, and I appreciated them more.
The author has given us two characters we get to know fully, and both are richly detailed and interesting. As unlikely as it seems, you can see how they grow to respect and love each other.
The writing is crisp, and she works a great plot into only a few pages. You hold your breath until the final scene to see how they end up.
