The tongue, while essentially for sharing the gospel, has the power to cause destruction. In Chapter 3 of James's letter, he sheds some light on the necessary truths regarding our speech. If we don’t yield this small but powerful part of the body to God, we will use our words to tear others down. However, when yielded to God, the tongue is just as powerful to build up others and the Kingdom of God. So, how can we tame our tongue?
