Tanaiste Simon Harris has been labelled “disingenuous” by a Leitrim Cllr in relation to his comments on LNG terminals.

Speaking in the Dáil this afternoon, the Tanaiste says the Government is considering LNG as an “insurance policy”, as the country is heavily dependent on the United Kingdom for the resource.

However Independent Manorhamilton Cllr Eddie Mitchell disagrees with the stance and wants the Government report into LNGs to be made public.
