Tania grew up in Erie, Pennsylvania, in a home shaped by instability and control. At 19 years old and three months pregnant, she entered prison carrying both fear and uncertainty about her future. Her father worked long hours, leaving her often under the care of a deeply controlling mother whose abuse would leave lasting emotional wounds.

Becoming a mother herself at just 16, Tania moved from house to house trying to survive and find stability while raising her daughter. Through it all, her oldest brother became a source of guidance and support during some of the hardest moments of her life. In this episode, Tania reflects on the trauma she endured, the resilience it took to keep moving forward, and the complicated family dynamics that shaped her story.
