In this activity, two experts—a medical oncologist and an oncology nurse practitioner—discuss a multidisciplinary approach to holistic management of hand-foot skin reaction (HFSR) from multikinase inhibitor therapy in patients with colorectal cancer (CRC). Upon completion of this activity, participants should be better able to: Recognize the impact of hand-foot skin reaction (HFSR) in patients being treated with multikinase inhibitors; Discuss the rationale for holistic management of HFSR in patients taking multikinase inhibitors; and Outline strategies for optimal HFSR management, including patient education and practical shared communication strategies to help manage HFSR.
