Puerto Rico recently beckoned and enjoyed both the wonderful culture of the island, but also the areas of its beauty. When traveling out of your normal comfort zone and known area, you’re bound to come across some hurdles. In our recent trip, it was no different. Located in the tropics and where the Atlantic touches the Caribbean, Puerto Rico is a 2.5 hour flight east from our home base of Tampa Bay. The photo shoot was planned nine months out, rooms and cars were booked and our planned location to stay was in Arecibo, about 45 miles west of Puerto Rico.
