In today's Premiere Episode of Sippin' the Tea' #Quarantea edition #OnesToWatch in music hosts Ariane Andrew and Matt Dillon meet Tara Beier.
Born in Vancouver, Canada, Beier was immersed in music and creativity since a young child. Tara began playing classical piano at five years old and continued to play for 13 years. Now, Tara has relocated to Los Angeles to continue her journey in music as a singer-songwriter with her band The Purple Space Rocks.
Tara’s latest album, “Super Bloom” was produced by Ken Coomer in Nashville. Released under Manimal Records, “Super Bloom” hosts a unique fuse of folk, rock, and Americana. “Super Bloom” is available across all platforms including Spotify, Apple Music, and more now.
“I feel every song on the album is somehow a growth or blossoming of one’s self. Evolution is what I’m all about, baby!” says Beier of the album’s title.
It’s about bringing the darkness into the light. Acceptance. Every song has it’s own theme but centers around this concept of inner growth and overcoming something. We should all be super blooming every day and loving ourselves!
In discussing some tracks from the new record Beier is definitely showcasing a more personal side to her music and songwriting craft.
“The record is about personal recovery and growth and freedom from the past. Letting go of the past and finding my true self and purpose”, says Beier.
Beier has also dropped the ‘Super Bloom’ Video directed by Hana Haley. Shot it in Elysian Park in Los Angeles with an all-female crew.
