After competing at a high level in Softball for UCLA in the early 2000s, Tara Henry took some time away from the sport before she ended up overseas to finish a Master's Program. After that time, she was re-introduced to softball and it created an entirely new surge in her career. Tara is now the GM of Softball America as well as the Head Coach for the Great Britain National Team. 

The goal for Softball America is to provide additional coverage to the sport through various channels. Whether it's social media, the website, or even podcasts, Softball America (now teaming up with On3) is providing a seriously great platform for softball coverage across the world.

The goal for Tara and her Great Britain National Team is to qualify for the Olympics in 2028 in Los Angeles. This will give her and her players plenty of time to develop the talent over there, to give themselves a chance to qualify in four years. 

Our conversation is amazing as we hear some of her stories as a player as well as a coach. We'll chat about her experience going back to school and what she learned during her time overseas. (it's very unique and intriguing). I will ask her about her mentors and what she learned from them, and I'll even get to hear what she says about her favorite place she's traveled with softball.
