A little about Tara:
Tara Paterson is a dynamic stage and screen actor. She received critical acclaim for her performance as #7 in “The Wolves,” which won the Prix Rideau Best Director and Jury award. Tara also starred as Alice Sycamore in "You Can't Take it With You," Jerry in "Zoo Story,” and her Film & TV credits include “The Hardy Boys " (Hulu/YTV) and the indie “Goodbye, Papi” which was screened at the International Film Festival of Ottawa.
Tara is an inaugural member of the production company CreativeDifference & Co., and is set to have her Directorial Debut of the show “Antigone, presented by the girls of St. Catherine’s - an Excerpt” at the Toronto Fringe Festival this July 21st-31st. She will also be playing the role of Tamsin.
Tara is looking forward to putting out more content honouring, promoting, and showcasing underrepresented and women-led stories. She urges us all to stay open and surprisable.
Recently she won the April 2021 Scene Slam Edition for Monologue Slam Canada with her scene partner, friend, and collaborator, Andrea Cabeza. Check out her winning scene: https://youtu.be/seYE9cttOsc
