In this episode, we speak to Bahram Sintash, an entrepreneur who has become an advocate and researcher for the Uyghur people in Washington, D.C. After the seizure of his successful athletic company Uyghur Muscle and the detention of his father, the editor-in-chief of the Xinjiang Journal, Bahram has become a vocal advocate for Uyghurs in the diaspora and in East Turkestan. He currently runs Uyghurism.com and works with the Uyghur Human Rights Project.

Bahram speaks from the heart about his life, his influences growing up, his artistic career, and finally, what drove him to be an advocate and how he thinks that Uyghur around the diaspora can help.
