Claire Crone, program director of Sophia's Kitchen, 103 South Richard Pryor Place in Peoria, joins the Journal Star's Steve Tarter to chat about the charitable work the kitchen has been doing since its inception in 2010. The kitchen's mission is not just to feed the hungry, but to give the needy some dignity.

Sophia's Kitchen is holding a fundraiser on Sunday, July 1 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Knights of Columbus Hall on Radnor Road featuring food, a bake sale and a silent auction.
