(11:48) The House passed its budget bill unanimously last week, while the Senate agreed to a similar spending plan for public ed. The two chambers disagree on how exactly to spend the funds though. 

In addition, House members approved a measure that would require the state to develop a plan to audit the STAAR after multiple studies showed that the readability of the test was above grade level.
