Grandma's collection of miniature liquor bottles has gifted me with three different coffee liqueurs so far - a 1960s or 70s Tia Maria, 1980s Cafe Noir from McGuinness, and 1990s Coloma coffee liqueur. In this episode I open them all with Bea Bradsell. Bea is director of The Drink Cabinet and daughter of Dick Bradsell, the man who invented the espresso martini, and a really important figure in the history of UK mixology. Bea and I talk about Dick's legacy, sample grandma's tiny bottles of coffee liqueur, and discuss which one would work best in an espresso martini.
