During my recent trip to Douro with the Douro Boys Auction, we also took the time to visit each of the members. Arriving at Niepoort after a great visit we had the chance to do a delightful and precise masterclass tasting of port wines with Dirk Niepoort and Nick Delaforce - we tasted the 2015 vintage, the 2005 vintage, 2003 vintage, 1982 vintage (bottled in 1984) and the 1970 vintage - on top we had the opportunity to taste and discover the Bioma 2017 which is definitely a rich, fresh and mind-blowing port, so much that it would be hard to choose between the 2017 vintage port and Bioma 2017 vintage
