I got this tattoo right before I went to college and like everything I do, the design was strategic. It’s is one of my favorite Taylor Swift lyrics, “You are what you love”, in my Mom’s handwriting. The lyrics are the last line of her “Lover” album. The heart underneath is a replica of the heart I have a on signed Taylor Swift photo vinyl. Since starting college, I have changed with my new found boldness and confidence in things that I enjoy. It’s no secret how much I love Taylor Swift, which is one reason this tattoo was significant for my first. I got this tattoo right before I went to college and it was simple reminder of all that’s important to me. This being my family, my friends, and my cats alike. I can also add in my passions of music, leadership, and drive for change. Without these people and these passions, I wouldn’t be where I am now. So I’m grateful that I carry an important Taylor Swift written message with me now. Just quick glance at the tattoo, and I truly know that I am what I love.
