I am a huge MGK fan and my favorite song of his is “27”. The meaning behind the song is going through a rough age and making it through. I had a long battle with my mental health for years, PTSD from a really bad car accident, and struggled with addiction. I went to rehab twice all before the age of 27. Right before I turned 28 I went to Cleveland for MGK day and was able to see him and finally go to his coffee shop which is named the 27 Club in honor of all the famous artists that didn’t make it past the age of 27. That trip I also celebrated 2 years clean from drugs. So this tattoo represents everything I went through before the age of 27 and how I made it past.
