Mary writes: I have 2 tattoos on my both of my shoulders that symbolize my DAD! MY dad died 2 years after I almost died of appendicitis where he didn’t leave my side the entire time. He passed away at the age of 38 of a heart attack in his sleep. Because I wasn’t given the chance to say goodbye to him, I chose to do the next best thing. The rose represents his death, the fact that he was my king and meant so much to me. Baby girl is the nickname he gave me. The other shoulder represents the IRISH prayer. A few years later after fighting to get my dad's ashes I finally got them and decided to make the long travel back home to Alaska where I was born and scatter his ashes in all his favorite fishing areas. When you lose someone so close to you and at such a young age, when you say your goodbyes after 30 years, you're at peace.
