After being booed off the court at halftime down 77-48, the Celtics came out with a vengeance and overcame a 32 point deficit. This was the biggest "Tale Of Two Halves" games I have ever seen. After an abysmal first half where we played absolutely no defense and couldn't score whatsoever (besides Tatum), the Celtics looked like a completely different ball club in the second half. Tatum was a landslide winner of Player of the Game with his 60 point performance which tied Larry Bird for the franchise record for points in a game. The man simply couldn't be stopped and the impressive part was the fact that a lot of his points were from the line or driving to the rim. Outside of Tatum, it really was rookie Aaron Nesmith that played outstanding basketball for the majority of his minutes. He set a career high in points tonight with 16 and had a million and one (might be exaggerating) hustle plays that propelled the Celtics forward in that second half. This was by no means a pretty game or a good win but it is a very impressive win.
