We got a glimpse of Celtics Basketball tonight. We saw the team fight for loose balls, hit their defensive rotations and bounce back after tough stretches. We saw standout performances from Jayson Tatum (50pts 8reb 4ast) and Kemba Walker (29pts 7reb 2ast) as well as a really solid defensive performance from Marcus Smart. This is the Celtics team that so many of us have grown accustomed to watching and loving. With this win, we now have clinched the 7th seed and will face the Nets in the first round of the playoffs. To say this will be a tough matchup is an understatement. Without JB, the only chance (still slim) they have at making a splash is playing with the same intensity as they did tonight but they need every single one of their guys playing at their full potential. This includes Robert Williams, who went down with an injury in the 2nd quarter tonight. He did return but for a very short stint and didn't return after that.
