As one of the few Black owners of a New York City corner store (Manifest Deli), Donald Bowman has a unique perspective on his community. Formerly incarcerated for a majority of his life, Donald decided to turn his life around in a somewhat unorthodox fashion. Though his story is riddled with tragedy and misfortune, he refused to let it define him.
