Darwin Carlisle and Matt Loftin are former speech and debate teammates from Amarillo, Texas. For the next 10 years after High School they pursued very different careers, with Loftin heading to the East Coast in Washington, DC to go into politics, while Carlisle headed west to Los Angeles to go into film.
