Taylor Cooper is an entrepreneur and first time documentarian whose new film, “Freetown Shakeback” gives you a glimpse of the culture of Freetown, a historic neighborhood in Lafayette, LA. The neighborhood is both celebrated for its creative musical and artistic scene, but is also - like so many other small communities in America - plagued by the opioid epidemic. "Freetown Shakeback" has been nominated for Best Short Documentary by Cannes Shorts Film Festival and it premiered at Cinema On The Bayou in Lafayette.
