Just days after the attempted assassination of Donald Trump it seems that a LOT has changed. I believe for the better!

Join me for a discussion on the aftermath of this historic event and what implications it has for you.

This assasination attempt has finally broken the hold of the left wing media and left wing extremists that have been working for years to stifle free speech and silence anyone who has an opinion different than what they preach.

It is time to change that and it is imperative that each of us thinks through all of the implications of this. We have to learn to think for ourselves because in truth, the legacy media CANNOT be trusted, yet we must remain vigilant to steer clear of extremists on both sides fo the political spectrum.

How the hell are we supposed to do that?!

Sharing an observation I have made over the years of having dogs in my life. 

This is most likely going to rub some people the wrong way but that doesn't mean it isn't true OR that is shouldn't be said. These are facts. And sometimes we need to hear facts. 

What can the health of our dogs teach us about our own health? 

I have heard this from hundreds of clients over the years. Complete frustration that they are busting their ass with healthy eating and exercise but their weight on the scale is staying the same, or even worse, climbing higher! 

What the hell could possibly be going on???

It might seem counterintuative but this is absolutely a major issue I see out there. 

We have to have goals...yes. But. So many people do this in a way that ensures they never actually get to those goals. If you have ever been frustrated by the fact that you never seem to get to any of your goals despite putting in the effort....give this episode a listen.

It is usually out to dinner with people or during some other socail gathering that someone inevitably tells me they need to do a 'health reset'. 

I bet you have uttered these words at some point, yourself. 

What is ahealth reset? Do you need one? How do you do it? What are the likely outcomes?

One of the most recongnizable movements at thy gym and the basis of so much gym culture --> the squat. 

But. 

Barbell squats are an exercise I DO NOT recommend. Why? 

Don't get your hopes up too much though...there is a bit of a twist here!!!! 

You need to divide your fitness program into two halves. 

1. The basics that you do regularly to maintain your fitness, strength, and mobility for life.
2. Life. The fun stuff. That race, or climb, or sport, or whatever it is that you deeply desire to do. 

Everyone focuses on #2 and the whole fitness industry does as well. But really it is #1 that should get the majority of your life focus.

The number of times I have been told that I am too fat to be a fitness coach has been too many to count! 

Maybe I don't know what the hell I am talking about. Maybe I do. 

I can say, that like you, I am probably never going to have a 6-pack stomach. 

And that's okay.
