I had to reshare this episode from mid 2023 because it's very important to make solid connections in the construction industry since most of our projects come from word of mouth.

I believe there's a correct and incorrect way to build connections in the industry. There's also small and big events all around town and it's difficult to figure out which of these events would be most beneficial. I've been to events of all sizes with people from various different industries and I've seen my fair share of the differences.

I really like the small intimate events because you can get more personal to everyone. Whether these are $20 10-person events hosted by a small level entrepreneur or a $20,000 10-person event hosted by one of the biggest names in the industry, the smaller the event the better the connections you can make.
